 They aren't predominately combat based unlike the current magic mods we have. And most of the combat elements have been removed (body armour, flying rocket jetpack laser suit things).

 and that is exaggeration only griefers do that not fucking regular people and it takes a lot to make the mining laser and quantum armor so it is not op if it costs a lot it is just something worked hard for, but tbh i think the jet pack is a little to easy to get so just change the crafting recipe to be more expensive rather then remove it, and tbh i really do not care about the mining laser.
