Questions about the server and modpack

Question 1:Do you have to pick a faction? Reason for Asking: The reason in s is that in minecraft it is incredibly hard to do anything without using a little bit of magic and science.
Question 2: Ignoring question one on this would the magic and science factions be fairly evenly matched like be able to obtain the same items/abilityes, but achieve it using the corresponding faction's principle? Example: In industrial craft there is blast proof glass which even with efficiency 4 on a pick mines like obsidian, while on the magic side or a.k.a Thaumcraft there is warded glass which is like bedrock to everyone besides the person who placed it and can only even then be broken with a wand.(a little op)
Question 3:Wold science and magic people be able to trade things such as a magic person asking for a science thing or a science person asking for a magic thing.
Question 4:Would Science people be able to enchant!?

That is all i have for now, and i may edit this and have more questions at a later time.

1) It is not compulsory to join a faction and factions will not even be added until later on.
2)The way we will probably set the factions up is that everyone can use everything but the science faction is more proficient at sciencey stuff and vice versa. I dont know if it's possible to do that but if it is then Seif can do it because he's awesome.

Charzar that is like making a shit game then refining it and people really like it, but still say it is shit..... omg i just realized that is what people do to Minecraft

If people found vanilla minecraft a shit game then their wouldn't have been so many people playing it before a shit ton of mods...
