xD love laptops, best for people on the go,
tried taking my Desktop to the pup..... had some issues xD
Just watched a Skyrim test on this laptop.
Can run with around 20-30fps on medium settings.
I'm used to running things at those frames so its all gooooood.
Going on monday, Hopefully ill have the money by then.

Re: Laptop Opinion
My advice: Buy a regular desktop. You can't change parts of laptops and aren't build for gaming anyways.

Re: Laptop Opinion
I got my mother a model with a weaker CPU and a smaller HDD from the g6 series, I cant really recommend it as the screen is broken as hell and that means its having to go to their support. :<
Also, its a laptop and as a hardcore gamer I can only say: G T F O
Its a laptop it is likely it will get issues with heating, crap battery that is expensive to replace, RAM goes on the fritz, etc.
ALSO!
I have googled the CPU and my final judgement is as follows.
I assume you play minecraft right? Of course you do! its a great deal but the CPU itself (Not the GPU inside it) is simply not up for the task. 1.5ghz on each core is....well, awful, and turbo? Thats if you only run a single thread, etc, windows 7. and then you´d have to turn off all the remaining cores to get a single one up to 2.5ghz
If you play anything beyond minecraft I can only blam this laptop for any kind of gaming/video editing(ESPICIALLY VIDEO EDITING! ) as being a cheap ripoff, the integrated GPU in the cpu is great for what it is but the CPU is simply so weak that its gonna be hard to take 100% advantage of the GPU.

Re: Laptop Opinion
Thanks for the info,
But for one with a budget, and needs a laptop for portable reasons,
(Desktops out of the question)
would you recommend it ?
Perhaps you guys could find something better for less than £325

Re: Laptop Opinion
I can recommend it as a laptop but you might have to lower physics settings in games if possible. If it is absolutely necessecary to be a laptop then this one will serve you aswell as many others that are 100£ more.

I shall be starting a Game Development course in a few months,
The Course recommends having a laptop.
Thanks for the advice, Unless something better comes up this shall be mine.
