Okay I've basically compiled some ideas for the next major content update (v1.2RL), which might include Minecraft 1.2 compatibility. Please vote for the features if you would like to see them and reply with feedback, thanks!

- Handheld and throwable/placeable and detonated explosives

- Full damage warmup for swords to prevent attack spamming

- Balanced Skyrim-esque thieving system

- More custom ranged weapons within the Crossbow and Musket categories

- New categories for ranged weapons

- More custom melee weapons

- Removal of the /back command AND the ability to /back on death for Donators

- Multiple worlds?


I will be monitoring this thread closely to draw inspiration for new content in v1.2RL. I already have a few tricks up my sleeve Wink

- New categories for ranged weapons I like bows/crossbows..not so much guns

- Removal of the /back command AND the ability to /back on death for Donators What is so big on /back...I rather have it at 30 minutes per use...this server rarely has any PVP to begin with..

Ok my views...
I'll start with the skyrim-esque thieving system, i think (if implemented) it needs to:
a) Be MUCH harder than the skyrim thieving i.e the highest likleyhood being 75% (dirt sand cobble etc) and any valubles being <5%.
b) Have a cool down time (5-15 mins in my opinion)
c) Not be a level related system, solely to prevent people constantly trying to pick pockets. (not necessarily included)
I think it should:
i) Cause either a health or energy loss with a failed pick pocket and the rarer the item, the more damage it does.
ii) if 'i)' is not included have a random steal still with percentage steals and one steal per warm up time.

Ranged. I think that ranged needs more variety, ie trebuchets throwing a boulder (4x 64 cobblestone) or iron/gold/diamond arrows, Arrowhead recipe

- = iron ingot/gold ingot/diamond
o = either blank or flint
Makes 'x' arrow heads (6 in my opinion). Then used in place of flints for bows. (Do more damage than regular arrows).

A new world would be cool, but it should be a creative world, like the one owners made :shock: (without the disastrous consequences) but not until we have a higher user base and more donations.

Back command should NEVER be removed. It should be a VIP command but with VIP+ a shorter cool-down time (1hr) and for sponsor even less (30mins).

More melee weapons? Would be cool but not really necessary unless they did something useful or added something to the game. Maybe obsidian armour? As good as leather but doesn't break? Just ideas.

PS I still think there should be a weekly building competition with no prize but getting a copy of your structure moved to a /warp awesome structures(example) (free warp) location.
And warps should be free again...

Why? I've seen it happen a few times that I killed someone and before I had the time to pick up his items, he just reappeared on the spot, took his items and teleported to somewhere else.

the /back command is meant so that you can get revenge. One example i can think of is if someone breaks into your base to loot you. yes, you can call a moderator but they arent always online and a rollback doesnt restore inv lost to PVP even when they are. This is what /back should be used for not just pvp in the arena or something. I suggest making that a rule

Or how about I allow /back but just remove the ability to go back to your deathpoint, so everyone's /back is the same as non-donators?

argh!no multiple choices?!i'd like more melee weapon types,but damage cd for swords is also nice,since you'll have a higher chance of survival if you get caught by surprise.but it could become glitchy cuz of lag and some people might opt for axes instead.and the skyrim-esque thieving is tempting,but you'll need to edit rules for that.explosives?meh.and DON'T remove the /back command.perhaps add a cooldown to mods as well but don't remove it.what made you even think of doing that?!

Well enchanting first for me, Nether seems a but un-needed here but enchanting is different :p And again the duplication glitch does not work. It is just a graphic error showing 2 of the same item but the items does not do anything and quickly disappears soon after the glitch is done.

I really only have 2 suggestions Nether and enchanting. Nether because Potions are kinda impossible at the moment since even if you have one netherwart you cant grow them in the overworld and netherwarts are needed for almost every potions, enchantment cuz its cool Razz
