Why not go for the webs site? I have been using it since I was 13 and I swear, it will be much easier for us to manage the site, customize it, add a actual domain, and if we get a premium membership we can put our own ads on the site (didnt work that well last time) with regards to the game reviews it will also make it much more professional and easier to navigate, better yet, the whole site is 100% customizable if we can find someone who can do html.

Furthermore we can then provide ourselves and our staff with professional email adresses (Included in premium)

Forums can be set up easier, we can restrict people's acess to parts of the site and so on.

Last but not most importantly we can work on other branches like discussed without it all being mixed into a portal page and a forum, and you can set up a portal page on the webs site aswell, for now I obviously agree that we should stick to this site as we have yet to get started, but overall the quallity of the webs tools will save both of us a LOOOOOOOOT of time as the tools simply just work better, we will also get acess to premium support (live chat support ftw?) And best of all, we wont have useless pages such as the FAQ.

Seriously give me a single day and ill show you what their site tools are capabel of. (:

Edit: I forgot to mention that we can password protect pages so only select members can acess certain areas, that would allow us to have a open forum and a closed beta forum side by side. (:

Another edit: And I forgot to mention that we could put up podcasts aswell.

Again for everyone else, do notice that this is NOT 100% what we are going to do as we still haven't gotten that much idea, just look at the minecraft server for now. -pats- :3

You have more control over your website and income.

Using a Host such as ( X10hosting ) allows you to setup
a FREE hosting plan, With a Fully Customizable Web Builder,
Along with a Installer where you can install sites such as :
Blogs,Forums,Wikis,Galleries,Etc with a click of the button.

Perhaps you should think about it more once the server
is up and running.

Another edit ftw! I just read their terms of service and we need a poorly monitoring hosting solution with regards to the forum itself since if we want to supply people with a minecraft client we cant do it there if they monitor.

Just checked out the tool aswell, its rather slow and overwhelming, the whole purpose of webs was to make it a lot easier on us, but I guess it just is a matter of getting used to it being slow.

Yes you get all of those and more,
The RVSiteBuilder Gives you a list of Templates and once you have chosen the one you like
you can start adding pages freely.

And like i said there is a Installer that allows you to install Forums,Wikis,Blogs etc on your site.

Hmm like I said, I think it would be best if we looked to the server first. We only have 7 people registered so all we really need is a functioning forum, be it free or not, so exploits can be reported and feedback given.
