Vote to Kick

This is not so much a suggestion as an outright demand.

We need the ability to vote for a kick or some other reasonable way to allow people to moderate when no moderators are on.

With the growth of the community has come a surge of new people popping in to give Riftland a shot, often in W1. On almost a daily basis now, some retarded child will join and endlessly grief and PVP people until they give up and leave.

This is not acceptable in any way and there absolutely needs to be something implemented to allow people to deal with them.

Thank you for expressing your concern, however a vote to kick function could be easily exploited if people grouped and ganged up, as it were, on a single player and kick him. As for mods not being online, for the whole of today one or more members of staff have been present on the server and staff presence will be more noticeable soon when exams are over.

Perhaps the issue could be resolved if only certain ranks were able to partake in the vote, or if there was a variable added in to all ranks that could be turned on and off by moderators based on how mature and responsible people are.

I don't think its a good idea. I see big towns kicking people that are in small towns in wars etc.
