Well it aint that bad apart from the processor.
Dunno about the FX card(I'm not into AMD)
Butdo you know where you will buy it?
Maybe a website or anything will help if I can find something better for ya.

Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
OK for the budget but First make sure that you have PCIe expansion slots available and that your Powersupply has the connector on it. The last thing you want to do is buy the parts open them and then realize you cant use them or return them....
P.S. The "FX" card is actually called a GPU and you confused me because my computer will be running a FX-6100 CPU which is AMDs new 6 core processor.

Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
Yeah, just make sure your power supply unit can take all the new hardware and that your motherboard is compatible with all the stuff being put in it. About the graphics card, for ATI HD products, you take the second number of the card name to gauge it's strength. So a six for the 6670 isn't bad at all, I have a 4670
For the CPU, I'd recommend a Core 2 Duo cause a Celeron is painfully slow and was used almost a decade ago >.> from what I've experienced, they're the most efficient and fastest dual cores out there, but old motherboards tend to not support them if you are thinking of upgrading old hardware. I got mine cheap for £30 on eBay, but I think new prices can range from £50-£90 for good C2D.

Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
NO! get the 1090t instead, its around the same price, AND its actually properly supported by windows 7! If you get the FX-6100 you will need windows 8 and HOPE that its properly supported. (since it got SOOO slow cores its like a dual core intel 1.7ghz laptop cpu)DDSLoan96 wrote:OK for the budget but First make sure that you have PCIe expansion slots available and that your Powersupply has the connector on it. Check this out! http://www.overclock.net/t/1158070/fx-6100-vs-1090t-1055t-or-1100t
And that is why you should get a AM3 MOBO xD

Really?! every review ive been seeing on newegg says that the FX6100 is extremely fast and AMD apparently doesnt make the 1090 t anymore
edit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131644 Getting this mobo with the 1090t Black Edition....gonna overclock it with the Coolermaster hyper 212 Evo CPU cooler
Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
Im extremely happy with your choice of MOBO, and we are getting the same cooler! Be adivsed it took ME 4 hour to assemble that piece of shits. Its REALLY good and can get overclocked higher then the FX-6100 (4.0ghz) versus a higher clock speed of the t 1090 (4.1ghz) I am content with running turbo mode although I might OC soon.DDSLoan96 wrote:

Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
Just found out that the 1090t is out of stock....any other suggestions? Dont know if it will ever be in stock again. Is the Phenom X4 975 Black editon good?
Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
1075T or 1100T (best) should be your next choice, for gaming the Phenom is better by a slight margin but 6 cores will give you some preperation for the next line of AAA games after ps4/720/wiiu have gotten on the market.DDSLoan96 wrote:Just found out that the 1090t is out of stock....any other suggestions? Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
Cant find it reasonably priced on newegg or amazon and since im not a american I dont reallly know a lot about non-scandinavian sites, I recommend you keep hunting for those cpu´s tho since they are just that much better.
If you really just use it for gaming the 4 core AMD should do fine, BUT DO NEVER BUY THE FX cpu, no matter which ones, they use a architecture named SMP that somehow allows to to throw 8 cores into their cpu (its the excact same cpu with locked cores) unfortunately this SMP magic means that you have to divide the amount of cores by 2 to get the actual amount of cores. 8/2=4=you just paid a lot for nothing. Get the quad core if nothing else is avaiable, spend the saved money on a bigger graphics card.

Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
AMD 1045t good? and doesnt the FX series use the Bulldozer architecture
Re: BlueTopika's New PC Opinion
Indeed the FX does, but because of the SMP its MUCH weaker even when overclocked vs the t1100, also, the 1045t is alright but it cannot be overclocked, get it only if you cant afford t1090 (since the 1100 is a step too far xD)DDSLoan96 wrote:AMD 1045t good? and doesnt the FX series use the Bulldozer architecture
