v1.4OB Part Two Patch Changelog

Here are a list of changes brought to the server in the latest Riftland Steadfast update (v1.4OB Part Two):

Major changes marked in bold

There is now a new launcher which no longer wipes your minimap waypoints every update - download it here:

You MUST use the new launcher to play on the server!

- Mages now automatically have Augmented (full-moon) casting, the most powerful spell casting mode
- Finally fixed class selection
- Fixed iConomy accounts being reset every day
- Your lives are now shown when you spawn
- New automatic broadcast messages
- XP gained from breaking spawners severely toned down
- Cows and Pigs now spawn less, Endermen & Sheep spawn more
- When a Vessel dies, lightning strikes at the death location
- There is now a portal at market which simulates the /back command without a cooldown
- Players now have correct health values according to their class
- Disabled spells considered to be unsuitable or were able to bypass protected areas
- Disabled certain explosives which were able to bypass all protections
- Anti X-Ray has been implemented
- Toned down ALL magic spell damage by a small factor once again
- Demons now take the correct amount of damage in water
- Demons no longer receive damage when in a boat
- Angels now take more damage when in contact with lava or fire
- Hunter's /locate command has been replaced by the ability to right click while holding a compass to track the nearest player within 300 blocks (No cooldown)
- Hunters can no longer be tracked by other hunters
- Sponsors and staff now have reserved slots
- Player limit changed to twelve
- Server performance improved..
- Fixed memory leaks related to Mekanism machines
- Fixed any ICBM item requiring circuits being uncraftable
- Client download should be slightly faster
- No more corrupt textures or corrupted client related crashes
- You can now craft batteries/battery boxes
- T3 Launcher equipment is now unlocked
- Seif's tag is now permanent!

Known issues/to-do:

- Some Biomes o' Plenty biomes were wrecked; newly generated chunks and some existing ones were/will be unharmed.

Umm this sounds nice.... if i could actually play it.
the new launcher downloads the modpack to about 6 percent and then just stops.please help so i can get back on the game

  It is a problem on your side..

I've just downloaded modpack.

 Off the top of my head:

Spells: Dig I, Dig II, Seven League Stride, Chrono Anchor, Flight

Other: Cannons (soon to be purchasable in market), Grenades

 i have the same problem but it only download 1 % :/

and yet modpack dosent want to update ._.

The only thing i wan't to say to this server is goodbye i wont play it becouse it dosent want to download :/.Not that i dont want to play but well...Havent see a good server like this in half an year :/

 Delete the .riftland folder located in your User directly and reupdate.

i am getting the same problem when it trys to install the modpack it installs: 0% and then it is done and i have none of the mods. i have tryed reinstalling many times and deleting my.rfitland folder and reinstalling and i always get the same result.

Well.. I could put modpack manually (Can I Vince ?)

Oh yea the locate command is half useless now

 It kinda just nerfs the entire hunter class, hunter seems like the most useless class now.

 Pretty much just the normal steve with restricted magic (mages have augmented and custom items (everyone can use).

 And improved melee combat (Which is only reason I am Hunter tbh)

 (P.S : I'm not even sure if they work or not...

Extra health for hunters don't work for sure)

Gah! that was my favorite part about the hunters, being able to track EVERYONE. :< i dunno if i wanna live on this world anymore.

i can't even play atm cause the mod pack won't install. I have tried re installing java and have tried deleting .riftland and re installing and i do not even get to 1% to mod pack installation.
