Battlegroup Server
I am proud to announce that I have started development on Riftland's very own Battlegroup server. It looks extremely promising and it shall be a 4v4 deathmatch from the looks of it. It will have elements and a background from Olde Riftlande which should make it even more interesting to play and will include the return of muskets..hopefully with no one hit kill pistols this time.
I plan to have only one playable battle map on this server, and freeroaming disabled. Every month or so I will hold a vote as to whether you want the map to change. As of today, the current map we will be using is based on Riftland's World War Three and the Peace Keepers Federation's mission to besiege key Mercamp outposts while Flondarius and Northwind resist ItzDom's fearsome, yet faltering campaign to the East.

Can you explain what this means? I am not completely tuned in to minecraft lingo, so I'm not sure what a battlegroup even is, or what freeroaming means in this context ... like what is this new map even for?

I can make objective-based small TDM arenas if you want.
Like Conquest in BF3. (Tickets would be possible but a lot of efford, so capture all objectives to win maybe ?)

Here is the first screenshot. The flags represent the team spawn points, with Mercamp spawning in the fortress and the Federation on the battleship Peacekeeper One. The arrow shows the munitions base where the teams will eventually race to get to.

2. It's all automatic, if you ever played CL Battlegroup, it's identical to that. People join the lobby and choose a team, then they fight it out and blow up the map etc. Then when a team gets 20 kills, they win and the map gets reset to the state shown in the picture above. And it continues..

We've just compleated all stuff (except decorations , adding mountains etc.) with gustaaa on a castle conquest map.
After i have fully done , i will send you map (and after testing it ofc)

I have tested every redstone system.
Now i gotta add :
Main camp with tents for attackers. [Done]
Houses inside town.
Mountains with voxelsniper.
And then ask Vincent to what should be added/removed.
Attackers have so many options to attack btw guys. I hope we can add more shit with Light (Like cannons for defenders)

Ok , i can help it tomorrow, not i gotta sleep.
My map has a little redstone job. I didn't want to work much but i will add more on my next one.
Can you make defenders have infinite lives ?And attackers win if they blow up a whole castle
Cuz map goes like that.. :C

Light if u need redstone work done i got a 2-3 hr car ride friday and I will have internet access the whole time(thank you new phone) so I will have nothing to do that whole time

I built a castle once witch got me VIP on a server once and u have screenies I'll post em once I finish my homework

Btw vincent, i have compleated making mountains on mah map. I gotta build camps again though (I think i should make height differences outside town. It looks weird when it is flatten)
