2. unable to kill process (java) which makes it impossible to stop.
3. keeps running in background after you close it.

2: Guessing ur computer is too slow to kill the process
3: Computer to slow to compeltely shut it down

I7 2670qm (3.2 Ghz), Nvidia GT 540M (2GB) and 8 gb ram

and runs most games at medium or high.

you just modify the server config file and instead of online-mode=true you put online-mode=false ...that easy lol
