no hostile mobs.

i have noticed that there have been few hostile mobs lately, but today when i logged in and started hunting in my desert there was not a single hostile mob!

I can remember we have had this problem and discussion before...

Do you confine yourself to one area? Because when I go hunting, I kill about 50-100 mobs each night by travelling. Once mobs die in an area, they don't respawn there for a while later.
