Riftland IV Open Beta Begins

I am posting this announcement to inform you that Riftland IV is now open for public testing and is now officially in Open Beta stage. I'd like to reinforce the fact that this does not mean that it will be bug-free and plain sailing. The reason for the public release is to iron out any bugs before being able to present a final, stable server.

As always, I can only work on improvements based on your feedback, so please post any bugs or possible improvements either in the suggestions or bug reports sections. The next update will be when I have gathered sufficient feedback for a hotfix.

Current Issues/Improvements Needed

- Bank needs to be implemented
- Class selection needs to be finalised and improved
- Marketplace needs to be open for shops
- Health display issues
- Demons take damage in boats
- Special abilities for classes need to be implemented
- Class traits can sometimes disappear and require a relog
- Balancing issues (awaiting feedback)
- It's so freaking rainy

It appears the map has been corrupted. I'll check it out.

 You're correct. The map is corrupted and we've had to add BOP biomes so therefore we figured it would be easier to start afresh.

I think when the server goes up, we will have the bank and market in place. I believe we are replacing the sponge with a different block, but it will function the same more or less.

We are still using sponges for protection, and another block for different sigils that prevents angelic and demonic vessels from teleporting to a specified area. Another sigil will be used for temporarily disabling all special abilities in the local vicinity - again, a useful tool against vessels.
