Riftland IV Open Beta Small FAQ + Announcement

When will the beta be released?


The closed beta is now grinding to a halt and will be available for public testing within the next twenty-four hours. In order to play on the server, you will be required to manually download the latest launcher (link can be found on the portal).

What mods can we be expected to see?


The mod list that we have used to build Riftland IV can be found here. Note that there may be slight alterations, including additions and removals of certain items and aspects of the mods listed.

The next announcement will reveal more about the server - particularly concerning the four classes you can pick from when you start to play on the server. Stay tuned!

No help without info. Be more specific. Which launcher did you download? Nothing happens when you try launching the launcher or logging in? What version of Java do you have (open cmd and type java -version)? Do you have a 36bit or 64bit computer? Right now with the information you gave, I would tell you to reinstall Java.

when i launch absolutely nothing happens it just does nothing.
my java version is 1.6.0_43 OK now with that info what should i do?

 I know sounds weird but , try to spam launcher..

It happens to me when I try to run vanilla minecraft. I just have to spam launcher

Yes, you need to update Java to at least 1.7 http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

omg i am playing single player and is this fate it must be. i am on a land mass in the mid of the sea with a girl she looks like a eve to me and i can be her man and make a new world muhahahahaha .... but for real wut mod adds this girl

Same reason why we don't have jetpack lasers that fire nukes out of cow's asses

Honestly the modpack looks great. Why don't we all just give it a try before we start creating short remarks and massive posts about concepts we want added. I'm sure the server will develop as we go along.

 i am seeing a lack of a reason why not. there is nothing that i can think of in redpower that is op.

Can you estimate what time the server will be up tomorow?
