v0.2CA Patch Changelog
Here are a list of changes brought to the Server in the latest Riftland Supremacy patch (v0.2CA):
- Experimental /warp Dragon that takes you to a fire-spitting Enderdragon's nest that spawns a Dragon every hour to test Guardian Dragons
- Implement experimental magic system, players will have all spells by default to test them
- Introduced experimental Self-service block protection. [Member]'s will have 1 diamond block protection available that protects a 20x20x20 cuboid around it.
- Introduced /kits
- Activated Craftbook
- Newbie starter kit corrected
- Moar automated messages
- Giants health and fire attack buffed
- Made mcMMO levels harder to level up
- Towny no longer heals the world after explosions
- Reduced Giant spawn
- Criminals renamed to outlaws
- Slime spawn rate reduced
- Made skeletons and sheep more common
- Fixed World Edit and World Guard?

Note on Magic:
There will be three categories in which sorcery will be sorted into -
Dark Magic: These will consist of incantations which are used for offensive combat, such as hurling fireballs, summoning the undead to fight for you and entombing players in cobweb etc.
^spells cast with Bones. spells based mainly on mana.
Light Magic: Spells which help preserve one or others' lives or primarily non-lethal which include healing others (at the cost of your own health), becoming invisible, disguising as mobs or blocks, preventing others from casting spells and pushing other players away from a particular point.
^spells cast with Books, spells more reagent based than Dark.
Environmental Magic: These will include non-combat spells, such as the ritual spell to change the time of day, Telekinesis, short range teleportation and position switching with players/mobs.
^spells cast with Sticks, spells more reagent based.
I've decided there will be a mana system in place in order to balance out spells. Players will need to work through a 'main mage questline' that will involve slaughtering dragons and bosses to increase their mana limit.

Yeah, It's down. The server should be hitting beta before to much longer. We have made a lot of progress this last week. Riftland will be back better than ever Danny.
