ItzDom's Update - Suggestions needed

O.k. time to step things up. Give me a list of ideas and ill make a big ass update for the server.

Town wars! Cannons! Giants! 1.4! More jobs! Skills! Dungeons! More active staff! Better incentives for voting like cash to spend at the adminshop! Allow players to protect their houses by placing a diamond block etc... Think there is a plugin for that. or get regions.

Townwars: lol rage quit
Cannons: lol more rage quit from legal grief
Giants: hmmmm i like....

Jobs: Gimme another list
Skills: Make a vote for that
Dungeons: elaborate
Active staff: well i dont have anything to do with staff
Incentives: Casino anyone?
Diamond block protection: well *dang annexes the map*

Town Wars: We can find a fair way. What about making copies of the towns and pasting them in a flat field, and let all the players go crazy. Each town has to pay a certain amount to enter the war etc. whoever wins get the booty.

Giants

1.4 I know

Jobs: Dunno.

Skills: Mining, Woodcutting, excavation, etc...

Dungeons: Staff created structures that players can form parties and battle their way though mobs and traps to reach the end and get some loot.

Active Staff. Yeah you do! Get online and play dom!

Incentives: played on a really fun server. Every day you could vote a total of 3 times and make 900g total. You could then go spend that at the adminshop. I made sure that I voted everyday so I could mass diamond blocks lol.

Diamond block protection. Each block only protects an amount that you can define. We could just set it at 10 blocks.

If I can get it finished fast enough (which probably I won't) you can include the new website I'm making for the server. Here's what I have done so far:

Looks like you guys have shot down 90 percent of my ideas. Why doesn't someone else give it a go?

Oh, and last time was awesome! World Domination bitch!

How about a brothel?

Add a rank that is for making events.

They can change gamemode of others in creative world. (It is like being mod, but they make events instead of ban people)

They don't have to reward much , but they can increase play time.
You need to limit quests/day though.

What about a [Trusted] rank for members that are trusted by the community? Perks are WE in creative and tpa in survival?

a veteran rank would be sweet, but it doesn't actually do anything.

I liked Riftland's old town war system. The only reason it failed was because each time a war erupted, people would exploit bugs that were previously unreported to their advantage and screw shit up.

Riftland had a great town war system. I had alotta fun with it haha. What bugs are you talking about thought light?

Infinite TNT , overpowered potion effects , overpowered guns , endless overpowered weakness , guns not working for everyone .. Should I keep going ?

I discovered infinite TNT at the end of the last war on old map which I got banned so I didn't care about it.. And the others were not even used in wars..

Never knew about infinite TNT. How did that one work? Never used guns as gunpowder was to rare What other bugs?

Cannons were not using TNT at all..

Most of bugs are caused by Guns+ plugin anyway.

Especially effects.. (I still have no idea how Vincent managed to get some effects on guns working.. )

Anyway , this is a post for suggestion.. And bugs are dead anyway.

True. A bug-free Riftland back in the day would have been perfect. Loved the muskets and gunpowder idea.

To go along with the diamond block protection idea. I believe the plugin also includes an anti-pvp block (sponge) and an anti-mob spawning block (web) I think it would be cool to throw those in there also.

That plugin make more lag than you can imagine..


There is another plugin (I think residents or something).

You use axe like in WE and claim an area..

You have to pay for each block you claim daily. It makes money usefull..

Yep, already mentioned that one several times. I also don't think it will cause that much lag if any at all.
